History of the Flag of Mongolia

The Mongolian flag was first officially adopted on February 12, 1992. The current version of the flag is similar to the flag used in 949, except that the star symbols have been removed. On July 11, 1921, Mongolia officially gained full independence from China. In 1940, the official flag was designed in the country.
