History of the Flag of Mongolia

The Mongolian flag was first officially adopted on February 12, 1992. The current version of the flag is similar to the flag used in 949, except that the star symbols have been removed. On July 11, 1921, Mongolia officially gained full independence from China. In 1940, the official flag was designed in the country. Therefore, the use of the flag has been officially dominant throughout the country since that date. Mongolia was also ruled by the Ottoman Empire for many years throughout its history. In this direction, the country started to struggle for independence after the Ottoman period.
